Don't mess with Manilow

At the Stewart Plaza shopping center in Christchurch, New Zealand, one mall official plans to play music by Barry Manilow to discourage graffiti hooligans from continuing to terrorize the mall. Few things are as closely associated with contemporary Western society as the local shopping mall. For decades, the expansive repositories have been the promise land for consumers in search of the latest fashions and gadgetry or those simply looking for an excuse to step out for a leisurely stroll.
